1. Asian Legal Business (ALB) – Izyan has been nominated as Young Lawyer of the Year Award for 2019.
2. Business Networking International (BNI) – Izyan has been awarded as a Millionaire Giver Award for 2 consecutive years of 2018 and 2020 on which she has been contributing and giving businesses to the other fellow members of more than RM1 Million along 2018 and 2019.
Izyan began her interest in practising world at Skrine as paralegal as soon as she finishes her final exam in 2006 at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Upon graduation with flying colours, she began her practising career by completing her pupilage at the same firm in 2007 where she was exposed to litigation, corporate and conveyancing practise. Her vast experience and exposure to the style and working culture of Skrine, regarded as one of the largest law firm in Asia Pacific has given her the necessary skills and understanding on the importance of being efficient without abandoning quality. After her called to the Bar, she has practised at Messrs Salehuddin Saidin & Associates as Legal Assistant till her current stint in this firm which commenced the first day the firm was established. Later Izyan has expanded her skills when she embarked on her legal studies in Diploma & Syariah Legal Practise (DSLP) in International Islamic University Malaysia.
Izyan had acquired the skills and knowledge in various legal fields especially in Property Conveyancing in preparing Sale and Purchase Agreement relating to Housing Development (Control & Licensing) Act, sub-sale cases of various types of properties and land, Tenancy, Lease, Renovation Works, Joint Venture, Supplemental, and specified agreements request to be drafted according to the clients’ needs, Security and Facility of Loan Agreement, Deed of Assignment, Novation Agreement, and other land matters. She is also well versed in land procedures. Izyan has actually started her practice as a Civil Litigation lawyer where she has handled directly general litigation cases, especially in relating to landlord and tenant disputes, family law and divorce cases, Probate and Administration of Estates cases.
Later she went out of her comfort zone by opening her own legal firm In 2011, as Messrs Izyan Aziz & Co. On April 2016 Izyan with the other two founding partners have formed Messrs Shahra, Ezzad & Izyan until to date. During this 5 years of partnership Izyan has managed to secured eight panelships with financial institutions, housing developers and other companies.
